Der Science Day wird im Rahmen des Hochrangigen Politischen Forums (HLPF) der Vereinten Nationen (VN) für Nachhaltige Entwicklung von der Hauptabteilung für Wirtschaftliche und Soziale Angelegenheiten der VN (UN DESA), dem Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), dem Entwicklungsprogramm der VN (UNDP), dem VN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Global) und dem Internationalen Wissenschaftsrat (ISC) ausgerichtet.
Dr. Marianne Beisheim (Teilnehmende am Beirätedialog vonseiten des VN-politischen Beirats beim Auswärtigen Amt) und Dr. Anne Ellersiek (Mitorganisatorin des Beirätedialogs vonseiten der wpn2030 und SDSN Germany) stellten den Beirätedialog gemeinsam vor.

Zusätzlich zur Vorstellung vor Ort wurde der Beirätedialog zudem zur Präsentation im offiziellen, gemeinsamen Positionspapier des Internationalen Wissenschaftsrats (ISC) und der World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) zum HLPF 2025 ausgewählt.

The Science Day is organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Global) and the International Science Council (ISC) as part of the United Nations (UN) High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development.
Germany’s dialogue of the scientific adisory councils was jointly presented by Dr. Marianne Beisheim (participant in Germany’s dialogue of the scientific adisory councils on behalf of the UN Political Advisory Board at Germany’s Federal Foreign Office) and Dr. Anne Ellersiek (co-organizer of Germany’s dialogue of the scientific adisory councils on behalf of wpn2030 and SDSN Germany).

In addition to the presentation on site, Germany’s dialogue between scientific adisory councils was also selected for presentation in the official joint position paper of the International Science Council (ISC) and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) for the HLPF 2025.
